Reid Brewin Architects prepares for Data Centre World

Members of Reid Brewin Architects’ global team will head to Data Centre World in Paris this November, as the organisation prepares its debut at the industry-leading event.

The two-day trade fair – which will take place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 16 to 17 November – will enable delegates to learn more about Reid Brewin Architects’ expertise when it comes to the design and construction of data centres.

“The nature of data centre design, build, and expansion can often be very challenging,” explained Reid Brewin Architects’ co-founder, Alex Reid. “The large consumption of energy and quantity of heat production – not to mention the volume of high-tech equipment which must be housed safely and efficiently – requires a certain level of skill and technical know-how.

“Data Centre World is without doubt, the place where the industry’s leading decision makers gather, from across the world. We’re looking forward to meeting with like-minded experts, to explore and share ideas around how to best integrate the various components of the architectural project – while meeting sustainability and regulatory guidance.”.

Such is Alex Reid’s expertise on the topic, that he will join a panel discussion titled ‘Construction, financing, security and maintenance of the data centre’ from 15:15 - 16:05 on the opening day of the show.
